As a theatrical design student i need to have a sort of  "image bank" in my brain. That "bank" has to be made by watching tons of images all the time to have ideas for my projects and to know how to draw a certain thing, texture or even for knowing different colours and posibilities to combine them. The ideal is that those images comes from different places such as books, internet, videos, life experiences, etc. But in my career we specifically are very adicted to use the website Pinterest as a great tool to find our references. Pinterest is a website that stores tons and tons of images from around the world. It's like a Google of just graphic content, that includes not only images and photographys but also graphics, drawings and infographies with information on it, such as body exercises or makeup tutorials and instructions. I don't believe in ghost, i know that that's not the only paranormal activity that exist, but if we are talking about ghosts, then i don't believe in such a thing. First of all i believe that is really anthropocentric to believe that some evil force wants to trick or harm us, i don't think that any other force or spirit or demon is really interested on coming to disturb a simple human. I have a lot of photos, cause i love taking them and keep the memory from a moment, so it´s hard to choose just one important moment or something. I choose this photo because i remember that that was the first day of 2017. This was 1st january 2017, i was on Tunquen, a very beautiful beach close to Algarrobo where i go a lot because my father loves it cause is a really quiet and unknown place. In the photo i was on a natural pool and i was feeling really full of joy and happiness, i was feeling so calm and optimistic about everything, for me it was a really good start of the year. In that moment i imagined that that was a great signal of what a good year could be coming. Eventually it turned out to be a really busy year, lots of things happened, but this photo still remembers me of hope a little, hope of feeling that everything is going to be alright and that we have to be thankful of what we can find on the way. The feminist movement that has re-born in Chile in the past few months is really exciting for me personally. I consider myself a feminist and i'm really into discuss and deconstruct every area that can be seen through the eyes of feminism, such as romantic love, relationships, violent situations, street harassment, power relations, etc. I think is really right that this movement showed up in Chile, cause it was and still is really necessary to educate us and others into feminism and the need of a huge change of mentality, both in men and women, to erradicate violence, agressions, harassment, patriarchy, abuse of power from authoritys in situations of power, and many more. The movement that showed up on our university made a huge difference per se, because it installed a very important discussion in our student environment and opened a space for sharing and discusing our bad experiences in it. I use pieces of technology everyday, all day, from portable speakers to my smartphone or computer, and also the t.v a lot so it´s pretty hard for me to choose one as my favorite cause i use them all a lot and i love the way that those things can make my life way easier and comfortable. I have mixed feeling over technology; from one part i love it, i love to have smart t.v's that can reproduce music, videos and movies at the same time with an amazing quality of image and sound, and i also love smartphones because they can help us finding really quick information about the weather, traffic, other people, the news and everything you can imagine, at the same time that you have a really good camera for taking pictures or recording videos whenever, wherever. In your cellphone you can even watch videos or movies right from netflix. Then i love having a great portable speaker for listening to music wherever you go conecting it to your cellphone that has all the music you can imagine right ...

Magdalena Aceituno Pereda (yes, without a second name) was born in Paris, France the 9th of April of 1997 in a public and catholic hospital. You might be asking why in Paris, well, her father was doing his doctorate in the Sorbonne university at the time her mother was pregnant of her, so that´s why she was born there. Both of her parents are psychologist, her father was her mothers teacher in the Diego Portales university and they had her 4 years after having her sister, Sofia. She lived in Paris for about 8 months, until her father ended his doctorate and they went back to Santiago de Chile where they live since then. She has been visiting Paris through the years, but she currently lives in Chile. She started school in the "college la girouette" of Las Condes where she learned to speak french, basic french, and at second year of primary she changed to a much smaller and unknown ecological and alternative school called "maison de l'enfance" located on Peñalolé...
