Post 4: (Free themed post) What is your take on...

The feminist movement that has re-born in Chile in the past few months is really exciting for me personally. I consider myself a feminist and i'm really into discuss and deconstruct every area that can be seen through the eyes of feminism, such as romantic love, relationships, violent situations, street harassment, power relations, etc. I think is really right that this movement showed up in Chile, cause it was and still is really necessary to educate us and others into feminism and the need of a huge change of mentality, both in men and women, to erradicate violence, agressions, harassment, patriarchy, abuse of power from authoritys in situations of power, and many more. The movement that showed up on our university made a huge difference per se, because it installed a very important discussion in our student environment and opened a space for sharing and discusing our bad experiences in it. Lot of us create bundaries with many smart womens from our spaces and lift up a huge movement that changed the rules of coexistence in our university spaces, and that algo puts on the table tabú subjects that weren't being talked such as free abortion, the massive amount of cases of violence againts women and discrmination againts us.
